TWIG Protector combines a GSM mobile phone with a high performance GPS receiver and TWIG Telematics (MPTP) in compact shock and waterproof (IP67) casing. Inbuilt receiver together with separately sold wrist/neck alert button allows triggering the TWIG SOS function remotely. Ideal solution in situations where revealing of the device may cause hostile situation or access to Protector is limited.
Operated in conjunction with the TWIG desk-top Internet Service (www.twigworld.com), the Protector is used as a stand alone device.
When integrated with the TWIG Discovery phone it offers full mobile monitoring center.
In addition, a discreet wrist alarm and Charger Docking converts Protector into a full home care unit.
TWIG Protector Man Down Alert version is having intergated motion sensor that brings the emergency messaging to next level from user operated alarm button that is standard feature in all TWIG handsets.
Alert will launch emergency cycle that makes automatic call and sends position to predefined numbers in case the user is unable to do manual alarm. Alert is send when predefined parameters are met on in-built accelerometer. These features, and the unique TWIG SOS button, make the TWIG Protector ideal for locating phone users and increasing their safety.
The device can be configured for several different business applications including personal tracking for resource management and as a safety device
for lone workers.

By using the MPTP TWIG Protector can be configured to connect to any emergency centre that uses voice or SMS for telematics.
The centre can be contacted by the user by pressing the TWIG SOS button that will send SOS message and/or open a voice connection to the predefined
emergency number. The SOS message will include location, time, speed, direction and battery status to help to track the user.

TWIG WebFinder allows you to track TWIG users from a PC. The internet interface allows you to track and locate someone carrying the
TWIG Protector via any web browser, providing you with peace of mind as to their location and current status. You can also use your own
corporate backend systems and connect via SMS or TCP/IP to TWIG Protector.
